EXPLORA III arrives in Japan in September 2027 for Explora Journeys’ first season in Asia, as autumn color begins moving south. Beneath temple eaves, maple and ginkgo turn vivid red and gold, making gardens a reason to linger.
Across 28 journeys, EXPLORA III reaches 47 destinations in nine countries, including Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Each is a first call for the brand. Overnights in Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bali reveal these destinations after dark.
Smaller-group Curated Explorations offer local guides and behind-the-scenes or culinary access, while Private Arrangements follow a particular interest.
The season changes around the ship too. Chinese New Year is celebrated onboard in January 2028. From February through April, EXPLORA III returns as cherry blossoms move through Japan.
By spring, the same country has become a different destination.
Here, the collection opens with a new ship and a quieter coast.
EXPLORA V launches in December 2027, after the Mediterranean's high season has loosened its grip. Valletta's limestone warms in low winter light, Dubrovnik's lanes have room to breathe, and an overnight in Istanbul lets one day cross into the next.
Her opening collection reaches 27 destinations across nine countries, including Explora Journeys' first call in Salerno. From here, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii are both within reach, but they need not share one hurried day. Your advisor can arrange a private guide, choose an Explora experience, or leave room for Salerno itself.
On New Year's Eve, fireworks rise over Naples and reflect across the bay as EXPLORA V watches from the sea.
It is difficult to imagine a better introduction.
From the Mediterranean, EXPLORA V continues through the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula, joining EXPLORA I across Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain.
Here, winter means milder days among Petra's carved passageways, Luxor's temples, AlUla's sandstone formations, and the deep desert silence beyond the Gulf's glass towers.
By late afternoon, sandstone warms to rose and the desert begins to cool. The day has room to extend beyond the landmark itself.
Overnights turn a region often compressed into stopovers into one continuous story. For inland sites such as Petra and Luxor, where offered, Overland Immersions can coordinate multi-day transportation, accommodations, meals, local hosts, and luggage handling.

EXPLORA II and EXPLORA IV turn toward the Caribbean and Central America, where familiar names do not carry the whole season.

Farther west, your day might pass beneath a rainforest canopy, through a Maya site, or on the slope of a volcano.
Explora assigns each destination experience an activity level and can adapt the day through Private Arrangements. One day can hold a paddle, a climb, or a long walk, leaving the next gloriously unclaimed.
Both ships spend New Year's Eve off San Juan. The fireworks still happen. Winter simply arrives in shirtsleeves.
The horizon narrows as water and forest begin to fold into one another. The journey settles into the river's rhythm.
Along the Amazon, EXPLORA II and EXPLORA IV reach river communities including Boca da Valeria and Santarém, with an overnight in Manaus. Deep within the rainforest, the city's grand opera house rises above a busy port, bringing river history and urban life into the same view.
