Tauck & Conservation efforts around the world

Tauck operated their very first tour 100 years ago in North America this summer.  Through destination grants, Tauck has partnered with organizations that share a vision of conservation and education, helping preserve:

  • Mesa Verde National Park
  • Grand Teton National Park Foundation
  • Civil War Trust
  • National Civil Rights Museum
  • Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center
  • Jasper National Park
  • Grand Pré National Historic Site
  • Friends of Notre Dame Cathedral
  • Wilderness Safari Camps in Africa

US National Park preservation efforts were enhanced by Tauck's unique on-tour volunteer program where guests spent a few hours of their journey helping to preserve the parks – celebrating 15,000 Tauck Yellowstone volunteers by 2008.

Tauck will offer 29 North America land tours in 2026, including four Tauck Bridges journeys designed specifically for families. Tauck is also expanding both its Small Group journeys averaging 24 guests, and Even Smaller Group trips averaging just 15 guests per departure.

Galapagos Conservatory

In partnership with the Galápagos Conservancy, Tauck is the first company to underwrite a research and rewilding expedition in the Galápagos Islands to help restore the populations of native tortoises. Driven to extinction on some islands, and on the brink of extinction on others, today only 10% of the original population remains. They are critical to the fragile ecosystems in the Galápagos.
