Shakespeare meets the high seas with this special voyage series from Cunard Line. Featuring performances from the Royal Shakespeare Company, you will experience world-class theatre while crossing the Atlantic. These programs are available onboard the Queen Mary 2 from May 29 until August 12, 2022, as well as September 15 to November 13, 2022.
A brand-new piece has been created exclusively for Cunard, called Boundless as the Sea. This production brings the best of Shakespeare's love scenes, seamlessly blended together to highlight the highs and lows of love.
A Look Onboard
The program onboard the Queen Mary 2 features a variety of interactive and experiential activities to help you connect with the audience and performances around you. Featuring exclusive theatrical scenes like Boundless as the Sea, you will see a new take on Shakespeare's well-known love scenes. While onboard, you will also get the chance to see a shortened version of the Royal Shakespeare Company's Miss Littlewood production. When you return to your stateroom the entertainment doesn't stop, with your TV featuring the Company's most recent productions.
One program onboard guests can't get enough of is a special look at what it takes to become an RSC actor. Take part in a series of workshops designed to help you explore the art of performing. Watch as actors perform their favorite monologues and songs, and learn about what inspires each performance they are involved with.

The Royal Shakespeare Company is known for pushing the boundaries of theater with exciting experience for guests. Innovative exhibitions are just the beginning, with the Queen Mary 2 featuring the touring exhibition, 'Digital Diorama: An Augmented Journey Through Shakespeare's Stratford'.
Dive into the life of a young Shakespeare, feeling the atmosphere he grew up in. Feel as if you have entered his hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, using special devices to see scenes from his plays. You will watch as these plays come to life, with the help of this outstanding theatre group.
