With a population of almost 6 million people, Singapore is a dense city designed with beautiful spaces to stretch out. Outdoor parks, indoor greenhouses, and recreational spaces are of no shortage in this destination. Known as a current glimpse of what utopian city life could be in the future, Singapore is almost intimidatingly clean.

One of the most breathtaking locations in Singapore is the botanical gardens UNESCO World Heritage Site, covering 52 hectares and having a large display of beautiful orchids. When your appetite becomes the main focus, Singapore has a variety of food to excite your taste buds. Singapore food is known to be a fusion of Indian, Chinese, Indonesian, and Malay dishes. Remember to wash it all down with the city's famous drink - a Singapore Sling.

Can't Miss Experience: Gardens By The Bay and Marina Bay Sands

  • Enjoy Singapore's new icon, a 250-acre horticultural attraction. With more than 250 thousand rare plants in huge domed conservatories, Gardens by the Bay truly makes Singapore a leading global city of the 21st century.
  • Home to the world's largest public cantilever, The Marina Bay Sands Skypark is an amazing spot! Travel up 650 feet to the skypark that stretches longer than Eiffel Tower when laid down.

The Salmon Capital of the World is a great place to start when seeing Alaska, where you can also get in a sightseeing plane to take in the full majesty of the magnificent Misty Fjords National Monument. The Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary is a great spot to visit, with bald eagles, black bears and yellow banana slugs! Ketchikan also has the world's largest collection of some of the oldest and most precious totems in existence.

image 3 8.5.21Apia, Samoa

Samoa was the first independent state of Polynesia, and Apia is Samoa's only town. The name Samoa comes from the traditional Polynesia dialect, meaning earth and center.

Apia started as a small village of just 300 people, but has now grown to over 40,000 people. The Samoan way of life still honors the culture of the past, with traditional housing and clothing still worn in the town. Markets are a great place to see the town's culture, where locals sell crafts, traditional dishes, and produce. Movie fanatics will recognize this island as the backdrop for the 1953 Gary Cooper classic Return to Paradise Beach.

Can't Miss Experience: Lava Ridge Hike And Waterfalls

  • A hike along the coast begins this island excursion, stopping at Tiapapata Bahai Temple, Papapapaitai Falls and Togitogiga Waterfall. This is a very rigorous excursion, but the destination definitely makes the long journey worth it.
