Life Onboard
Rigid schedules have no place onboard a Star Clippers' tall ship. Take extra time to watch the sunset or chat with friends. No need to rush your drink, dinner is only a short walk away.
Local Entertainment: Star Clippers invites local performers onboard to entertain with an authentic taste of local music and arts. Enjoy an experience that goes further than a touristy show.
Events Onboard: The Captain’s daily briefing on deck is wonderfully informative and a chance to hear some great story-telling as well. Onboard activities like knot tying and navigation classes have evolved from Star Clippers’ sailing tradition and offer a unique hands-on experience.
Water Sports
Activities are endless both onboard and ashore with Star Clippers. Enjoy kayaks, paddle boards and dinghies as well as water skiing and windsurfing.
Snorkeling: Caribbean sailings are one of the best ways to experience Star Clippers, and one highlight is snorkeling! Discover the crystal clear water around you, as well as what's below the surface. Snorkeling equipment is given to you at the beginning of the charter, so you are ready to dive in!
Sailor Training: There's no better way to learn the techniques of sailing than onboard a ship! The crew will help you to hoist the sails, climb the mast, and tie marine knots. While the many different names of the sails may be confusing at first, you'll grasp the concept in no time. Start learning how to use a sextant before you board, as that will help you navigate the open ocean.
